The Volvo C30 2011 reached in the US as a 2008 model (2007 in Canada), and has just received its first rejuvenate. The most striking view of the Volvo C30 2011 has always been from the rear, where the Volvo P1800ES was clearly the design inspiration. The Chrysler 200 Sedan 2011 comes standard with the same 173-horsepower, 2.4-liter gasoline engine that graced the Sebring, but our Touring was prepared with the optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that, at 283 horsepower, is more powerful than last year's 3.5-liter engine and, at 19 city and 29 highway mpg, is more efficient as well. The engine's 260 pound-feet of torque is transmitted through a six-speed mechanical transmission with AutoStick manual shift method. The performance isn't what we'd call bad, but we couldn't help but think that the sluggish gearbox was keeping the Pentastar from offering really good performance.

Managing, on the other hand, is a more cut-and-dried affair. The 200 fails to impress and the blame can fall nowhere other than the chassis and suspension. Chrysler has softened the ride of the already mushy Sebring in an attempt to give the 200 a luxury sedan's soft ride.

Those who love affordability, whether it’s on the sticker or at the pump, will love the inexpensive and ultra-efficient Chevrolet Aveo 2011 subcompact. Available in four-door sedan or five- door hatchback (Aveo5) body types, the Chevrolet Aveo 2011 has three trims to choose from. Each trim comes with a 108-horsepower, 1.6-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine. All trims are mated to either a four-speed automatic or five-speed handbook transmission with overdrive and front wheel drive.

The base LS trim on the Chevrolet Aveo 2011 includes front bucket seats, a radio with an MP3 jack and the OnStar communication system with six months of Directions and Connections service. Meet the Cadillac CTS Coupe 2011. It looks like a theory car that took a wrong turn leaving the convention center, but in fact, it’s an entirely logical and even conservative progression based on Cadillac’s most victorious vehicle, the CTS. Starting at about $40,000, it will cost less than half as much as an XLR and offer two more seats, though there’s no way to open the roof. It’s also much cheaper for GM, as it shares its sheet metal from the cowl forward and almost all its mechanical mechanism with the CTS sedan and wagon, and it will be built at the same plant in Lansing, Mich. What’s most important to us though is that unlike some of the brand shows potential, but ultimately unpolished earlier efforts, the Cadillac CTS Coupe 2011 feels and drives like a car that’s been to finishing school.

Check out the BMW Z4 2011. It may not be the best car to drive, but it is the best car to ride. Competitors offer superior performance, but for the supreme all-around roadster available, choose the blue and white roundel. BMW slotted the two-seat Z4 as a direct competitor to the high-performance but low-comfort Porsche Boxster and Lotus Elise. But the Boxster and Elise kept getting better, so BMW decided to edge its competition via a different approach. However, just because the BMW Z4 is a runner-up on the track does not mean it has no chops. The six-cylinder powerplant is one of the best, with a seductive soundtrack and an even circulation of power and torque throughout the rpm range. A standard six-speed manual gearbox quickly routes power to the two rear wheels, which do an worthy job of keeping the 3,252-lb roadster convertible grounded. The Z4 offers practicality and interior grace in a segment renowned for not having much of either. It has a useable rear trunk with a pass-through feature, commendable legroom and a finely crafted interior with sumptuous styling and a superb user interface.
